Description
AX224 Steam Ultra Rapid Biological Indicator is specially designed for monitoring steam sterilization processes. If the sterilization process is unsuccessful, after incubation at 60±2°C, the medium will give a positive fluorescent readout from the AXIS® Automatic Reader Incubator, indicating the presence of viable Geobacillus stearothermophilus spores. After incubation, if the sterilization process is successful, the AXIS Automatic Reader Incubator will not do a fluorescence readout and will have a negative result. The last readout should be taken 20 minutes after incubation at 60±2°C.
